Making music and friends!
Give your child the excitement and enjoyment that can last a lifetime!
This music program will combine lively music & dance with carefully structured
learning activities designed for the specific age & developmental stage of all.
MUSIC GROUPS PROVIDE ENDLESS BENEFITS:
- Practicing self regulation and self control through the use of varying activity
- levels.
- Enhancement of speech & language development through the use of song and play.
- Improvement of social connections through the creation of group projects.
- Explicit instruction in conversation and other basic social skills.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Making music /singing songs.
- Listening to music.
- Playing instruments.
- Writing songs (composition or lyric writing) / lyric analysis.
- High energy movement to music.
- Relaxation and calming through music and other sensory activities.
6 Consecutive Saturdays beginning October 2nd
(October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and November 6)
at 2:30pm at the Autism Center of Pittsburgh.
$150 for 6 sessions
